Expensive!
Just registered for the Toronto Waterfront Marathon -- their early bird special until November 10. Wow -- it's $75.00 + HST ($9.75) + on-line processing fee ($6.78) = $91.53. The full marathon will be well over $100.00. Expensive!!! Reminds me the only races I'm signing up for in the year 2011 will be half marathons, 30 Ks, and full marathons. I just cannot afford paying over $50 for a 10 K anymore :-(

It has been getting a bit rediculous when it comes to price. I know I've been looking into smaller races to get my fix as well as I've cut out all the more boring dull races (ala Waterfront Marathon) as I just can't afford too many.
The Waterfront Marathon has some good parts -- e.g., near the CNE and along Queen St. East. The weather's been great the past 2 years. Hopefully it won't get too cold when it moves to mid-October. But I know the feeling of running under the Gardner or near the Leslie Street Spit. My concern is how crowded it is in the first half with the full and half combined together.
Getting VERY expensive.
