25 K long run yesterday

Three runs this week... signed up for St. Louis marathon so need to increase mileage in preparation for early April full marathon:

* Today = 5 K
* Yesterday = 25 K on Martin Goodman Trail; happy with 7C
* last Thursday = 7.5 K

4 K run today. Ran on King Street West and it is quiet due to the streetcar "pilot". I feel sorry for the businesses... recall how busy King Street used to be. I wonder if buses replaced streetcars... I would be happy as I won't have to wait at a green light as passengers enter/exit streetcar.

This winter is unlike any other I recall. Last Friday, rained a lot then temperature dropped so the rain froze. Fortunately, sidewalks not slippery and even dry. Can't wait until the spring!

Long run 14.2 K

Had 14.2 K long run today. Temperature, based on wind chill, warmer by 10C... something like -8C with -18C windchill.

YTD = 47.4 K

Front Street - L shaped condo in background. Clear sidewalks for running... 5 cm of snow forecasted overnight.

Week in Review -- Kim's' Convenience

Week in Review: Been a very cold two week break. Today was the coldest at -19C with windchill -29C. Return to work on Monday.

Thursday = 3.0 K

Wednesday = 6.0 K

Visited Kim's Convenience on Queen St. East and Sherbourne. Owner said TV show took photos of inside to make set for TV show. 

After run, went to Art Gallery of Ontario and found "Number Structure II" by Kazuo Nakamura... "uses the Pascal Triangle to explore order and probability in nature."

New Year's Day - 15.2 K long run

First run of 2018 is 15.2 K in very cold weather. Fortunately, no issues with snow and ice.

Riverdale Farm - think all the animals are warm inside.

My favourite water fountain - William Berzy Park -- the dogs are taking a break...
