Yesterday - Ran 6 K. Was shocked to wake up Sunday with snow on the ground. Fortunately it was a thin layer and a few hours later it was gone. I debated that it would not be worth it to slip and fall - especially since this winter I have not gotten injured. Perhaps it is the massage - the legs were loosened.
Today - Ran 5 K before work. Was at a workshop for 9 AM so able to get in a run. Good thing as snow storm forecasted for tomorrow evening (!). This depends on the temperature.
YTD = 194.6 K
Good news - a grade 10 student at my school is training for the half marathon at the Toronto Marathon and at Toronto Waterfront Marathon. He is fast - he's aiming for 5 minutes/K.

3 K
3 K tonight after work. Debated about the run as I needed to get home asap for Bud - he had dental surgery yesterday and wanted to be with him. Can't believe March is around the corner :-)

Week in Review - 3 runs
Week in Review - 3 runs:
* Tuesday, February 12th: 3 K after work
* Wednesday, February 13th: 3.5 K after work
* Today (Saturday): 20 K east on Bloor/Danforth and then back - a thin layer of snow fell overnight; after the run, it started to snow quite hard. Had to becareful as I did not want to fall on black ice.
Monday is Family Day and hope to get in a 5 K run.
This week, I mailed my registration for the 30 K Midsummer Night's Run.
YTD = 175.6 K

Post Snowstorm LSD
Wow - biggest snowstorm (1 foot of snow!) started Thursday evening and all day Friday. Took the public transit to work - media was telling people to leave the car at home if possible. Morning trek was fine but return home trek took 2 hours - subways went slowly. No issue since I could relax on the public transit. Do not like driving in winter storms.
This morning, ran 10 K for the LSD. Want to avoid running on snow and slush if at all possible. Fortunately, the sidewalks were cleared of snow but salty. I walked when there was snow or slush. Want to avoid injury this winter. Knock on wood... Temperature right now is 1C and will be 5C tomorrow - so the snow will melt :-) Bud loves the snow but he needs to becareful of the salt. YTD = 149.1 K
Today is Chinese New Year! Year of the Snake.

2 midweek runs
Two midweek runs of 3 K each - Tuesday after work and Thursday before work. Nice to run on dry payment. That is not the case this evening as we're getting the largest snowstorm in 5 years (!). Took me 2 hours to arrive home. Taking public transit tomorrow. Don't like driving in the snow.

Week in Review; Ground Hog says early spring :-)
Week in Review
Two runs this week:
* Wednesday: After being dismissed from my 2-day workshop, ran 5 K.
* Today (Saturday): 20 K along Queen Street East. Because of the rolling hills, opted to run on the Martin Goodman Trail in the Kew Beach. Today was cold -7C but with windchill -15C. I ran into the wind on Kew Beach so it was not easy! Fortunately the paths and sidewalks were dry today - do not want to run on snow as I think that is the reason I get injured each winter/spring. So far, so good! Treated myself to a Pizzaiolo whole wheat vegetarian slice - yummy!!
YTD = 133.1 K
Good News
Celebrity groundhog, Wiarton Willie, did NOT see his shadow this morning on Groundhog's Day. That means an early spring in Ontario :-) Excellent news for runners.
