Montreal Marathon medal arrived

Happy to have received my finisher's medal to the Montreal Marathon last week. Unfortunately, they ran out at the race - so they were distributing the half marathon medal. As compensation, complimentary registration at the 2017 race - which means back to Montreal next year!

Race Report: Philadelphia Marathon

Philadelphia Marathon Race Report

Wow - very windy. Temperature between 37F and 45F. Glad I brought along a winter toque ($2 from Dollarama). Should have brought gloves as well. Wore a tech shirt and jacket and shorts. So windy - contrast to yesterday which was over 60F.





7 AM start line. Took 25 minutes before corral was released.
We're off!
Great sign - "Hurry Up! It's Cold". City Hall in background.
1 mile. Great to see timer.

Passing by National Constitution Centre. "We The People" - but who are "we"?
Passing by United States Mint.

3000 volunteers for the race weekend!

Independence Hall to the right.
