Full/ultra marathon #47
Chose to register for this full marathon on the last day - May 9 - $125. Wanted to be sure I could run this as I ran the Waterloo Marathon and Toronto Marathon in the past 2 weeks. This is the inaugural year of the full marathon.
Woke up at 3 AM to make it to Dunnville by 6:20 AM. Thank goodness for my iPhone map as I arrived at 5:20 AM. Duncanville has a population of 12 000, approximately 50 km from Hamilton. Parked the car near the finish line and school bus took us to the start line.
50 feet statue of town mascot, "Muddy" the Mucat. Very cool. |
Start line. A small race with about 125 registered in the full marathon. |
