Took Bud to the vet yesterday for follow-up to his hotspot. This is the 2nd time in half the year Bud's gotten a hotspot. The vet said the summer episode was one of the worst hotspots he has seen (and he's been a vet for 50 years). Bud got another injection to treat the iching. The vet says we are on the right track. I circled the hotspot in the below photo:
After Bud walked me home, the snowstorm started. Wow - snow, followed by freezing rain, and then rain. Winter weather! Wore boots in the evening on Bud's walk.
This morning, I was thrilled that the slush had melted - thanks to the +5C weather. Was worried about the run since I wasn't going to risk falling on ice. Fortunately, no issues as the side walks were free of ice. Fulfilled my goal of 20 K run. Ran east on Queen Street into Ashbridges Bay Park.
YTD = 25 K (1.47% of 1700 K goal completed)
