At the last minute, I was asked to supervise the Debate Team at York University. I reworked my schedule so I ran 25 K after work on Friday - run ended in the dark. Need to keep running as Around the Bay is at the end of March. Last week also got massage - legs very tight. YTD = 191.6 K
Photos of York University. Quite different as the university has so many new buildings. Can only imagine how packed the university is during the week.
Photo 1: Vari Hall - opened in January 2001 - I remember so well as I was a 1st year undergraduate student. First term was in construction. First class ever to be in VH lecture hall D.
Photo 2: Student Centre - opened also in January 2001 - same look - a few new fast foods with only Wendy's remaining. Gone are KFC, Manchu Wok.
Photo 3: Inside Vari Hall - the Rotunda
Photo 4: 2nd floor photo looking out of Vari Hall - building the TTC subway to York. Slated to open Fall 2016.
Photo 5: Central Square - before Vari Hall opened, this was the place to be - packed - back in 1990, people were allowed to smoke indoors - so there would be smoke galore here! Same look 2 decades later.
Photo 6: Scott Library
Photo 7: Curtis Lecture Halls - had many classes in CLH. Nothing has changed 2 decades later - except the upgrade to technology.
Photo 8: Ross Building - 8th floor was faculty of education when I attended - now moved to Winters College.
