Terry Fox Run

Ran the Terry Fox 5K this morning. Hot and humid. Photos below.

The original plan was to walk the 1K with Bud again this summer. Sadly, he had to be put down abruptly last Sunday. I will never forget my loyal little man of 11.5 years. He was a wonderful dog.

Terry Fox would have been 60 years old if he was alive. Very inspirational.

The Terry Fox 5K run has started.

Montreal Marathon is on Sunday, September 23. Today 33 K long run on Martin Goodman trail.

Also yesterday 3 K and Thursday 2.5 K. Back to work so not many weekday runs.

Long run today on Lower Don Valley Trail. First time this year on this trail. Took Bud to the vet for dental surgery - see last two photos. Will need to be home next few days monitoring his recovery. Forecasted rain didn't happen on the run as it was cloudy and humid (32C). That's okay as I don't like the blazing sun.

Little man, Bud, returned to me after dental surgery to remove 3 teeth. He also has ear infection. Recovery will take a week. 

Why is Bud sitting in the driver's seat. Wouldn't let him drive - he just had surgery!
