Full/ultra marathon #40 is now in the books. Ran the Montreal Marathon for a 2nd time yesterday. Wow - don't recall the 2nd half being so hilly. Great running weather. Enjoyed the race. Only problem was no more finisher's medals -- got a wonderful e-mail of apology and that the finisher's medal will be in the mail in 4 weeks with complimentary registration for next year. Looks like I'm back in Montreal next year.

No photo of Bud with medal - once medal arrives in the mail, Bud will be photographed wearing it. Received a 21.1 K medal - no use as I did not run that distance. One runner was very upset. I'm okay with that since nothing I can do.
Chip time = 6 H 13 M 17.8 S (slowest time of 40 full/ultra marathons)
Overall place = 3653 out of 4545 (I do not believe I finished faster than 900 racers - probably lots that registered but did not participate)
